the latest release by Spoken Label is Rochdale based Joe Kozarzewski also known as the rochdale ranter.

I met Joe some years ago at the first of my long-standing poetry writing night 'Writers of the third kind' and have always been amazed at his definately John Cooper clarke anger and general ranting against Rochdale in general.

Joe describes himself as a 'Dragged up round Manky Manchester, survived adolescense [just about] Discovered freedom plus my heart and soul at Rochdale Art College 1970/71.

Lived a varied and interesting life and now I'm kicking back the traces, in my dotage, as the Rochdale Ranter, and I speak out and shout, when I need to !!

This interview for reasons too long winded to explain here was recorded in the centre of Rochdale for a few reasons and was great fun, with me just letting Joe read out over 20 poems, and when normally perhaps i would have edited it down in this case i just let it run and run and run as i really enjoyed the lot.
