Latest album release by Spoken Label is by a new name to Spoken Label, Jacqueline Phillips with a epic piece called Pretty in Pink 3 which is split into several sections with poetry over music.

Jacqueline describes herself as 'Jacqueline, now in her mid forties, began writing poetry as a small child when she found out that rhymes sound amazing and a few words when put together in the right way, can paint a new world. Since then she has been scribbling away trying to paint as many new worlds as possible.

Until 2015, Jackie kept her poetry to herself but when she spotted that the nearby town of Rochdale were holding a poetry competition as part of their Literature and Ideas Festival she decided to give it a go and entered. To her absolute amazement she won and found herself introduced to the local literati who involved her in writing groups, open mic nights, spoken word events and writing workshops and she fell in love with these new experiences and also with sharing her work.
Although not yet published other than in a few small, self print anthologies, Jackie feels she does have a talent for writing and hopes her poetry will speak for itself.'

She is currently looking for opportunities to perform this piece and other works.
