George Melling describes himself as ‘ I'm a pensioner,written and performance,storyteller and poet, grandad to one cat, Buttons, inside, and three cats, Tilly, Milly and Ginger outside’

He is the Author of I'm Having the Rhyme of My Life, a dazzling honest book of poetry wrote with a lifetime of experience showing through every poem which is capable of reflecting deep pathos and a truly wicked sense of humour in the same poem.

The live set enclosed was from a highlight set done in April at Manchester’s ‘Word Central’ and finds George on top form.
